Jittery Joe’s & Widespread Panic collaboration, “Proving Grounds” coffee release.

I recently had the pleasure of doing a collaboration with Athens, GA-based Jittery Joe’s & Widespread Panic to help design the look for their new joint coffee, Proving Grounds. This being their 2nd team up with the band, Jittery Joes has always been known for their cool graphical coffee tins and interesting collaborations with different bands, restaurants, organizations, etc.

The design features a fleshed out version of a character from the bands old school logo, known as “The Note Eater” which in this case is now “The Caffeine Eater”. The actual logo is more of stick figure and had never really been fleshed out in previous iterations. A couple months ago I actually took on that task for a Widespread Panic poster from last years Sweetwater 420 Festival and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to bring it back.

The coffee is currently available on the Jittery Joe’s website. Along with the cans we created a run of T-shirts and limited edition screenprinted posters which were initially available through Widespread’s website.

I currently have a small run of Artist copies available (run of 35… signed/numbered) as well as a small run of Rainbow foil variants (run of 20) up in my Store.
