Good Morning,Sir. Having been a “spreadneck” since my first show in 1989,and a huge deadhead,I’ve seen a lot of cool “gig art”.However,this particular piece….WSP at Wolf Trap,has become my fav.My dear mama,recently passed away suddenly.Being a Native,and a North Carolinian,the Dogwood is very special to my people,equally important is the Cardinal….I’m a welder and blacksmith for over 25 years…within the last 5 years,I’ve taken to sculpting natural things out of upcycled steel….I always create original pieces,but if its ok with you,I’d like to recreate this image out of steel,with of course,the understanding,that it will be for me,and not offered on my website….Its an amazing piece,and I would be both grateful and honored if,you would allow me to do it…Kindest Regards,Shane.
