Norah Jones at the Greek Theatre print
While over here i was able to do a gig for a show apart of the the “LaLaLand Greek Theatre LA 2010” poster series. Norah Jones with Corinne Bailey Rae.
Obvious influence but i thought it was fitting. And the peacock… mainly because i noticed she hasn’t used any imagery from her Indian heritage in the past and thats all i see.

More screenprints… blacklight style
Traveling around Jaipur I came across a bunch of huge screenprinted blacklight posters advertising a Circus in town. They were littered around the city, must have been hundreds of them… good looking prints.
Bollywood prints..
One of the things i wanted to do while in India was track down some old Bollywood movie posters. In Haus Kauz Village there are 2 or 3 shops that will hook you up. These places are small but packed to the brim with posters/movie memorabilia/trinkets. We found one in a back alley and the place was overflowing with cool stuff. I forget the name of the store but the owner was a nice guy… knew a lot about Bollywood cinema.
