The Disco Biscuits Halloween 2020 poster.

The COVID-19 pandemic has basically shutdown the music industry and live shows for the last few months but there has been signs of life lately that bands are getting back on the road and getting creative with how they playing music live. The Disco Biscuits have been on a Drive-In tour and recently asked me to do a poster for their 3-day Halloween show in Lafayette, NY.

When coming up with a concept obviously it being Halloween factored into it so I tried a couple different approaches. Also, the venue was an old Apple Orchard that hosts the Lafayette Apple Festival so I thought working that imagery in as well would fit nicely. I tried out some witches both normal and Cosmic but we eventually landed on the werewolf. Only direction was “crack” him out a bit more we went with the “witch” color palette.

There was a small number of posters available at the show including some “Rainbow foils” and the band experimented a pre-sale online as well. My Artist Edition of prints (run of 30) as well as 2 funky foil variants, “Sheen” foil & “Swirl” foil (both run of 14), are currently available now up in my Store.
